Strategy Sessions for 8th and 9th Graders and Their Parents
You're just 6 semesters away from beginning college applications, and it's time to build your foundation. This introductory program encourages discussion on important topics, including:
- What Colleges are looking for. Develop an understanding of what colleges are looking for and how to use your time wisely during your high school years.
- Academic Planning. Strategically evaluate and select courses within your high school curriculum.
- Extracurricular Activities. Explore a wide variety of extracurricular activities to make the most of your time outside of the classroom.
- Make your first year count. Develop strong study habits and time management to lay the foundation for a solid GPA.
If you and your student choose to participate in one of our Pathfinder Programs, the fee for this introductory course will be credited toward the fee for your Pathfinder Program.

Application and Essay Support for Rising Seniors.
The Activate Program provides an a-la-carte option to support rising seniors who need to complete their personal statement, supplemental essays, and application. The hourly-based program includes:
- Targeted Assistance. 5 hours of specific assistance in the areas where support is most needed, ensuring your student stays on track as deadlines approach.
- Renewal Option. An option to renew at a discounted rate, allowing for extended support if needed.
